Pi Delta Phi is the honorary national society of the French. It was founded in 1906 at the University of California, Berkeley and is the oldest French honorary society in the United States.
The Gamma Chapter of UCLA was founded in 1926.

France Summer Program: Spend the month of July in Paris while improving your French. You can finish your 'language requirement' by taking Curriculum I (French 2 and 3), or continue your studies with Curriculum II (French 4 and 5).

L’Indécis au Précis is an annual academic journal that publishes articles on French and Francophone cultural subjects in the humanities and social sciences. The journal is supported by the department.
